Separators and detectors we supply
We are the Australian agents for two established makers, and we handle the sizing, supply, installation and support ourselves. Magnets pull ferrous metal out of the material stream before it gets anywhere near a crusher; detectors catch what the magnets cannot. Most sites run both.

Magnet first, detector second
The two do different jobs and are usually fitted together on the same conveyor, upstream of the equipment you are protecting.
Magnetic separator
Lifts ferrous metal out of the burden as it passes underneath, without stopping the belt. The first line of defence.
Tramp metal detector
Senses metal the magnet cannot attract or reach, such as manganese steel and pieces buried deep in the load, and stops the belt so it can be removed.
Both, sized to the belt
Tell us the belt width, burden depth, belt speed and what is downstream, and we will match the separator and detector to the conveyor.
