The Schenck INTECONT® Tersus is the control electronics – the integrator – behind Schenck Process MULTIBELT® belt weighers, and one of the most widely installed belt scale integrators in Australian mining, ports, cement and bulk materials handling. Accurate Industries supplies, installs, commissions and calibrates the Intecont Tersus Australia-wide, both on new belt weigher systems and as a replacement for older Schenck Intecont, Intecont Plus and Disocont electronics.
Designed for continuous, technical weighing in process sequences, the Intecont Tersus takes the weigh frame load cell signal and the belt speed signal, calculates live feed rate and totals, and delivers that data to operators on its TFT display and to the plant control system over Ethernet or fieldbus. It is built for sites that need a legal-for-trade (verifiable) belt weigher, a hazardous-area installation, or a proper fieldbus link to a PLC or DCS.

The same electronics also run Schenck MULTISTREAM® solids flow meters, so one integrator platform and one set of spares covers your belt weighers and flow meters.

If your plant is running older Schenck electronics – Intecont Plus, Intecont Satus, Disocont or earlier – the Intecont Tersus is the current-generation replacement. In most cases the existing MULTIBELT® weigh frame, load cells and speed sensor can be kept, so the upgrade is an electronics swap plus recalibration rather than a new belt weigher.

Yes. The Intecont Tersus is rated for operation from −25 °C to +60 °C, so an enclosure sitting in direct sun on a Queensland or Pilbara site is not a problem. The TFT display is also very bright, with adjustable brightness, so operators can still read rate and totals in full daylight.
